Russian Government Censors “Bullet” Lyrics by Hollywood Undead

Well, here’s a bit of weird Hollywood Undead related news for your Tuesday.  It would appear that the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being (aka the Rospotrebnadzor, which sounds a little cooler and less bureaucratic to this English speaker) has placed a ban on lyric pages for the American Tragedy track “Bullet” from certain Russian song lyric websites due to the song featuring suicidal themes and content.

It would appear the ban was decided back in June, and implemented in the last month.  For those curious, rublacklist.net has an example entry in their blacklist database detailing the blocking of megalyrics.ru’s page for “Bullet”‘s lyrics.

Fans shouldn’t get too worried just yet though, as the band recently performed “Bullet” in their setlists without incident as they made their way through Russia this past March!
