We hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, and an extended Happy Memorial Day to all of our US-based readers!

Over four years ago we published our very first article on Scene for Dummies – detailing the history of the illusive Phantom (aka The Scientist, etc.) and his history with Hollywood Undead.

Earlier this week, The Phantom (hereafter referred to by his most current stage name, Laphayette) updated the profile picture for their Facebook page to feature the classic Panther Entertainment logo used as far back as the MySpace Days – and while this writer was left pondering if this blip of activity was a one-off or a sign of more to come, it didn’t take long for more content to show up as earlier this morning Laphayette dropped his first new music video in over seven years for “On My Own”.

The track features Laphayette and his daughter Katana, with Socioo on bass, while J-Dog and longtime friend/collaborator of HU Killtron provided camera assistance and each make appearances in the music video. – the full lyrics and credits are available on Laphayette’s YouTube.  We’ve also embedded the video above, so give it a watch!
